A Patek Philippe holds its value better than almost any watch made, which is exactly why selling one deserves a careful, in-person look rather than a quick online quote. At Benadato, we buy Patek Philippe watches directly from the public at our Cherry Creek office in Denver. We authenticate the watch in front of you and explain how we reach our offer before any money changes hands.

What we look at when we value a Patek Philippe

The model and reference number matter more than almost anything else. A Nautilus, an Aquanaut, a Calatrava, and a complicated piece each sit in a very different part of the market, and the reference tells us the exact variant, dial, and production period. From there we look at condition, whether the watch runs within spec, and whether you still have the original box and papers. A complete set, or an extract from the archive, generally brings a stronger offer than the watch on its own.

Authentication comes first. Before we talk numbers, we check the case and bracelet metal with our XRF analyzer, examine the movement and the reference and serial markings, and review the box and papers against the watch itself. Nothing is quoted until it is tested.

How selling works

  • Bring the watch to our Cherry Creek office. Appointments are recommended, walk-ins are welcome. If you are outside Denver, ask for a mail-in option.
  • We authenticate and inspect the watch while you wait, usually within 30 to 60 minutes.
  • We explain the offer and the reasoning behind it, in writing. It is valid for the length of your visit, with no obligation.
  • If you accept, we pay the same day by wire, Zelle, Venmo, check, or cash.

Why sell your Patek Philippe to Benadato

We are a direct buyer, not a broker or a consignment service. There is no waiting for an auction to close and no seller’s fees taken out of your payment. You are welcome to bring an independent appraisal, and we will walk you through how it compares to ours. Yossi Benadato handles watches personally and has been buying in Denver since 2011.

Selling from outside Denver

If you are not local, we arrange secure FedEx shipping from anywhere in the country. Once your watch arrives, we send our offer within one to two business days, and pay the same day you accept. You are under no obligation, and the watch is returned at our cost if you decide not to sell.

Patek Philippe models we buy

Nautilus, Aquanaut, Calatrava, Golden Ellipse, Twenty~4, Complications and Grand Complications, and vintage references. If your reference is not listed here, it is still worth asking.

FAQ

Do I need the original box and papers to sell?

No, but they add value. A complete set with papers, or an extract from the archive, will generally bring a stronger offer than the watch alone.

Will you make an offer on a watch that isn’t running?

Yes. We still value it. Condition and whether the watch runs factor into the offer, and we will explain how.

Is the offer binding?

Once you accept in writing, yes. Before that there is no obligation, and the offer stands for the length of your visit.

How do you confirm a Patek is authentic?

In person, using the reference and serial markings, the movement, and our testing equipment, reviewed by our team before we quote.
