Gold and vintage jewelry are evaluated by Jamie, our gold and vintage jewelry specialist. Every piece is judged on its metal content, condition, craftsmanship, gemstones and today’s market value, and we explain each step as we go.

I brought a diamond ring into Benadato Trading Co. about a month ago, after the company was recommended to me by an appraiser who had valued my ring and I had expressed interest in selling it. Do you buy bags without a receipt or authenticity card?
Usually not. Original receipts, dust bags, boxes and cards are key to a bag’s provenance and value, so most bags we buy come with them, and they often increase your offer.
Do you buy bags that show wear?
Yes. Light wear on corners, handles or the interior is normal, and we factor it into our offer. Heavy damage such as torn leather, water stains, strong odors or broken hardware lowers the value more, but bring it in anyway. Classic bags from top houses are often still worth buying.
